Tool to communicate the plan to the Municipal Civil Protection citizens.

These are the three things to do so that the Civil Protection plans do not remain in the drawer but are known and experienced by the people. We need to refine the mechanism for informing the population, because self-protective behavior cannot be expected if people are not adequately informed about what is happening in their territories."
These words of Prefect Gabrielli gave life to the project by Pro.ge.com and TEAM Informatica, to create both a Web and mobile application, which helps Municipalities to spread their Civil Protection plan through the internet and Smartphones!
The objective of the project is to significantly increase the knowledge of the basic contents of the municipal civil protection plan by the greatest possible number of citizens of each municipality involved, making it fully accessible and usable through the creation of a mobile application and a web interface that contain the basic elements of the municipal civil protection plan. In particular, we will aim to disseminate through the tool:
- the situation relating to the weather alert updated in real time with data from the regional and provincial Civil Protection system;
- the risk scenario that exists in its territory;
- the general lines of the municipal emergency plan;
- behaviors to adopt before, during and after the calamitous event
- the means and ways through which alarms and information releases will be issued during and after the event;
The result will be to equip all the bodies participating in the experimentation (but in theory all the Italian Municipalities!) with software capable of making certain fundamental aspects immediately intelligible and understandable to the citizen to increase his knowledge in terms of safety and self-safety.
